Who we serve

We serve Black women and mothers who are strong, capable, and quietly exhausted. Many are the ones others rely on, holding families, careers, and communities together while feeling overwhelmed or disconnected inside. Our clients are thoughtful and self-aware, yet often stuck in survival mode from chronic stress, trauma, or years of carrying too much alone.

At BEL, we offer culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that honors the full complexity of Black womanhood and motherhood. We create space to slow down, soften, and feel safely held.

Healing here is not about fixing. It’s about coming home to yourself.

  • Feeling emotionally numb, flat, or chronically overwhelmed

  • Difficulty resting or slowing down

  • Persistent self-doubt or harsh inner critic

  • Relationship patterns that repeat despite insight

  • Parenting stress layered on unresolved trauma

  • Anxiety or depression that hasn’t shifted with surface-level tools

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency ealthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
