Keesha Clark, a licensed therapist, supports Black women and mothers through culturally attuned, trauma-informed care that honors lived experience, including perinatal challenges, emotional abuse, and financial trauma. The bigger picture is building a mental health agency that feels like a trusted part of your village, not just another service.

In 2026, Brighten Every Life Counseling Services plans to expand by hiring licensed and pre-licensed clinicians who are passionate about providing culturally affirming care to women and mothers. We are especially interested in professionals trained in—or eager to deepen their skills in—body-based and trauma-informed approaches such as Somatic therapy, EMDR, and IFS-informed care. Ideal candidates are clinically grounded, confident in timely and thoughtful documentation, and open to in-person work, community presence, and ethical social media marketing as the practice grows.
